June Douglas

June Maureen Douglas, 80, of Morgantown, passed away Saturday August 30, 2014 at Sundale Nursing Home. She was born June 28, 1934 in Morgantown a daughter of the late Reece Claude Johnson and Mary Frances Johnson. June worked many years at Montgomery Ward as a department manager. June was known to speak her mind. She enjoyed BINGO and spending time and going to lunch at Olive Garden with her family. She also took great pride in getting her nails done. She is survived by her daughter Christine Anne Douglas and companion Buck Cress of Morgantown; five grandchildren Keri Yokopovich and husband Nick, Carly Protzman and husband David, Kelly Oleksa and husband Gregory, Casey Feagin and husband Jacob, Kimberly Williams and husband Benjamin; and 15 great grandchildren Nicholas, Ashtyn, Daniel, Noah, Haleigh, Victoria, Haley, Hannah, Veronica, Jackson, Rebecca, Paxton, Peyton, Braxton, and Bryleigh. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons John Thomas Douglas, Jr. and James Reece Douglas. Friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Thursday September 4, 2014 from 10am until the time of funeral services at 12pm noon with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
