Judith Mae Mayfield

Judith Mae Mayfield, 70, passed away at home in Independence, MO, June 12, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 7, 1946 to the late Walter and Rose Knight – Chisler.

She attended the South Crysler Restoration Branch in Missouri. Judy was a talented seamstress for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed working puzzles, cooking, and watching westerns.

Judy is survived by her children, Ella Mae Conner, Art Blosser II, Bobbie Wensell, and Jeff Blosser; brothers, Roger, John, and Steve Chisler; grandchildren, Tricia, Joseph, Amy, Zach, Ryan, Jessica, Joshua, Christina, Sarah, and Jeremiah; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews; and her special fur baby, Precious who was her bestfriend.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dickie” Mayfield; brothers, Walter “Larry”, Jerry, and Carl Chisler; sister, Carole Wirth.

Family and friends will be received from 11am until the time of service at 1pm Saturday, June 17th at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home with Elder Jerry Shiflett officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hills Cemetery.
