Judith 'Judy' Lynn Maloney

Judith “Judy” Lynn Maloney, 68, died on Friday, July 26th, 2019 at JW Ruby Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. Judy was born April 12th, 1951 in Morgantown, WV to Olive and Marple McCartney.

She was a 1969 graduate of Morgantown High School and was employed at Mylan Pharmaceutical until the birth of her son in 1976. She then took on one of the best jobs ever, a mother.
Judy enjoyed watching Days of our lives and Pioneer Woman but more than anything, she loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a very caring woman who would put them before herself.

Her memory will be carried on by her daughter Maria Maloney and longtime companion Charles Hairston; son Patrick Maloney and daughter-in-law Julia Skean-Maloney; three grandchildren Ivory Hairston, Charles Hairston and Preston Skean. Her first great-granddaughter to arrive September 2019; brothers, sisters and their spouses Peggy Brooks and husband James Connally, Nancy O’Neal and husband Ken, Diana Rimlinger and husband Regis, Lois Mayfield, Ed McCartney and wife Elwanda, Bill McCartney and wife Linda, many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Maloney; her mother and father and sister Phyllis Jasper.

The family would like to thank the Cardiac Gold Team, the CVICU nurses, Nishtha Modi, Dr. Moss, WV Caring and 7 West nurses at Ruby Hospital.

Friends may call at the Fred Jenkins Funeral Home on Monday, July 29, 2019 from 4pm until 8pm and again on Tuesday from 10am until time of services at 11am with Pastor Jim Cooley officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at the Pleasant Hills Cemetery. www.fredjenkinsfuneralhome.com
