Joyce Goldie Hilling

Joyce G. Murray Hilling, 64 a lifelong resident of Dellslow, passed away Wednesday May 11, 2011 at the Monongalia General Hospital after a long illness. She was born April 9, 1947 daughter to the late Russell Earl and Eula Mayfield Murray. She was Christian by faith. She retired from Mylan Pharmaceuticals in 2009 with 35 years of service. She is survived by her husband John W. Hilling, Jr., whom she married on May 26, 1978. Also surviving is her daughter Michelle Eddy and husband Neil of Core. She is also survived by a brother and spouse, Freddie and Shirley Murray of Elkton, MD; sisters and spouses Louise and Alva Calendrelli; Jackie and Dave Everly and Christine and Mark Dunn all of Morgantown and a sister-in-law, Mildred Murray of Morgantown. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Kyle and two brothers William and Robert Murray. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Friday May 13, 2011 from 6-8pm and again on Saturday from 10am until time of services at 11am with Pastor David Hilling and Pastor Milford Watters officiating. To honor Joyce's wishes cremation will follow. The family would like to thank the staff of 6th floor at Monongalia General Hospital and to the staff of Mapelshire Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their wonderful care and concern. Thank you also to those special support family and friends for just being there.
