Joyce R. Bennett

Joyce R. Bennett, 59, of Knob Street Morgantown, died Wednesday March 11, 2015 at home. She was born March 18, 1955 in Morgantown, the daughter of Maxine Burns Bennett and the late Roy F. Bennett. She was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Posts of Morgantown. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family and camping on the river in Romney, WV. Joyce was Protestant by faith. She is survived by her mother Maxine Burns Bennett of Morgantown; two daughters Tammy and Jim Hines of Diana, WV, Billie Jo Plumley of Palatka, FL; two sons Jason and Arlene Clemsic of Waldorf, MD, Duane Taylor II of Morgantown; two sisters Linda Ice, Pamela Wolfe and husband Tim; two brothers Roy F. Bennett Jr. and wife Cathy, Robert G. Bennett all of Morgantown; seven grandchildren Ashley and Emily Hines, Kamryn and Jason Clemsic, Jr., Makala Plumley, Elizabeth Branton, Paisley Dalton; and several nieces and nephews. Joyce was preceded in death by her father Roy F. Bennett and a brother Darrell Douglas Bennett. The family would like to thank Morgantown Hospice for all of the care and support given to Joyce. Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Thursday March 12, 2015 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm and again on Friday from 10am until the time of funeral services at 11am with Minister Joel Boggess officiating.
