Josephine Duley

Josephine Duley, 87 of Morgantown passed away Monday January 18, 2010 at Monongalia General Hospital. She was born March 7, 1922 in Fairmont, WV a daughter to the late James W. and Lillian Drummond Uphold. She is survived by a son Clyde Eugene Duley and wife Barbara; daughters Joann Bean, Nancy Gallagher, Mary Lou Posey and companion Jim Wilkins, Peggy Adams and husband James Fred, and Judy Wise and companion Martin Brand; brother James Uphold; and a sister Virginia Hall;. Josephine is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, four step sisters, and one step brother. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Henry Duley; son James Gerald ‘Jerry’ Duley; daughter Barbara Ellen Toothman; infant daughter Betty Jean Duley; sisters Lena Potts, Kathern Kinsley, and Viola Cooper; a granddaughter Kimberly Lynn Posey; son-in-laws Chester Bean, Thomas Gallagher; two step sisters and one step brother. Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Wednesday January 20, 2010 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. David Hilling officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
