Joseph Charles Filandino

Joseph Joe' Charles Filandino, 48, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday July 28, 2010 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born March 23, 1962 in Norristown, PA a son of Ann Wolfe Filandino and the late Cosmo Filandino. He worked as a maintenance supervisor at USP Hazelton. Joe was a WVU graduate and alumnus. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed participating in sports and coaching baseball. In addition to his mother he is survived by his beloved wife Melanie Robinson Filandino; three sons Michael Filandino, Tyler Filandino, and Devin Filandino all of Morgantown; three brothers Cosmo Filandino Jr. and wife Audrey, Gary Scheffler and wife Diane, and Leroy Scheffler and wife Claire; and two sisters Pam Evans and husband Robert, and Tina Filandino and fiancé Wayne all of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Saturday July 31, 2010 from 3-7pm and again on Sunday from 1pm until time of services at 2pm with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
