John O. Marsh

John ‘Red’ Marsh, 63, of Morgantown, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday June 23, 2020. John was born in Morgantown on January 10, 1957 the son of Ruth Marie Davis Marsh of Morgantown and the late Ray Marsh.

John worked as a maintenance and building manager for Terrace Heights Apartments. He also worked for Murray Trucking Company, as well as Vic’s Towing. He loved doing things with his hands and working outside.

In addition to his mother, John is survived by three brothers Arlis Marsh and wife Linda of Clarksburg, Howard Marsh and wife Gail of Lost Creek, Gary Marsh and wife Janet of Independence; sister-in-law Lona McDaniel of Flemington as well as a good friend Bobby Davis of Pennsylvania; several nieces and nephews; two grandchildren Ava Stevens and Joey Stevens; and all of the Stevens Family

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother James Marsh and one sister Carla Marsh Braddock.

The family with receive friends at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Friday June 26, 2020 from 10am until the time of the funeral service at 1pm. John will be laid to rest at Davis Cemetery.
