John E. Hale

John E. Hale, 52 of Goose Hollow Rd., Morgantown passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2011 at his residence. He was born August 13, 1958 in Waynesburg, Pa., the son of the late Ralph and Thelma Duffy Hale. John was employed as a laborer for various construction companies. John is survived by his wife Mary Ellen Moore-Hale, a daughter Jonel Hale of Morgantown, a son Michael Knapp of Morgantown, a brother Ralph B. Hale and spouse Stephanie of Morgantown, 2 sisters Tresa Collins and spouse Glenn of Lorraine, Ohio, Sharon "Toni" Davis and husband Dorval of McClellandtown, Pa., Mother in law Pat Moore of Morgantown, Sisters in law Janet Hale and Ellen Hale both of Morgantown and Linda Williams and spouse Steve of Bridgeport, WV, a brother in law Barry Dickson of Morgantown. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews as well as his faithful companion Runtley and his 2 cats Asia Marie and Huggles. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother Fred E. Hale and a sister Kathy Dickson Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Thursday, February 10, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-9pm and again on Friday from 10am until the time of services at 11am with Pastor Mike Hall officiating. In honoring John's wishes, cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations in John's memory be made to Morgantown Hospice PO Box 4222, Morgantown, WV 26504
