Joey William Stansberry

Joey William Stansberry, 45, of Morgantown, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October, 19, 2014 at his home. He was born April 7, 1969, in Morgantown son to Donna Kisner and Denver Stansberry both of Morgantown. He was most recently employed as a Transport Associate at Monongalia General Hospital. Prior to his employment at Mon General he worked at WVU Hospitals. Joey was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and ride his ATV. He was also very proud of his Harley Davidson. In addition to his parents, Joey is survived by his brother, Shane Rebel' Stansberry and wife Jenny; paternal grandmother, Christine Stansberry; one nephew Garrett Stansberry and one niece Shayna Stansberry all of Morgantown. Also surviving is his lifelong and closest friend, Jane Mayfield of Morgantown and several aunts, uncles, cousins and other close friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clova Harris Kisner and Joseph Kisner and paternal grandfather, William F. Stansberry. Honoring family wishes, cremation was provided by the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
