Jocelyn M. Rowan 70, of Morgan's Ridge, Fairmont, passed away Tuesday July 13, 2010 at her home following an extended illness. She was born March 1, 1940 in Marion County a daughter of the late Marner E. and Opal L. King. She is survived by her husband Raymond R. Rowan; a daughter Joyce Mitchell and husband Donald; a son Ronald Rowan and wife Catherine all of Fairmont; three grandchildren Tonya Wilson and husband Chris of Morgantown, Ronald Rowan, Jr., and Jeremy Rowan and wife Amy all of Fairmont; and three great grandchildren Shelby and Cody Wilson of Morgantown and Jaynie Rowan of Fairmont. Also surviving Jocelyn are two brothers Edward King and wife Gay, and James King and wife Sharon all of Morgan's Ridge; and three sisters Sarah Stevens, Betty Henderson and husband John all of Fairmont, and Charlotte Vincent and husband Ronald of Morgan's Ridge. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister Lucretia Butcher and her husband Jesse. Jocelyn retired from Beaumont Glass Co. in Morgantown, and loved to cook and crochet for her family. Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Friday July 16, 2010 from 11am until time of services at 1pm with Rev. Raymond Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the family cemetery (Mount Ephriam Cemetery) on Morgan's Ridge. Donations may be made in memory of Jocelyn to the Hospice Care Corp. of Marion County P.O.
