Jobe Leonard Haney, 18, of Morgantown, died on Sunday, August 17, 2014 as a result of an automobile accident. Jobe was born September 13, 1995 in Wheeling, WV son to Leonard and Rhonda Hall Haney, of Morgantown. Jobe attended Westover Elementary, Westwood Middle and graduated from University High School. Jobe loved to listen to music of all kinds; was an avid sports fan and watched ESPN News frequently. His favorite college team was the Oregon Ducks. Spending time with family was very important to Jobe. He always looked forward to vacations at the beach. Jobe was Baptist by faith and attended the Goshen Baptist Church. In addition to his parents Leonard and Rhonda, Jobe is survived by his sister Kayla Haney; maternal grandmother, Betty Hall of Delbarton, WV; Aunts and Uncles, Rhonda and Mike Barker of Fairborn, OH, Eva Mae and Todd Napier of Townsend, TN, Pam and Denny Dempsey of Paulding, OH, Larry and Nancy Hall of Delbarton, WV, Rocky and Christa Hall of Lenore, WV and Chad Hall of Cleveland, NC. Also surviving are numerous cousins. Jobe was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Kenneth Hall and paternal grandparents, Tom and Myrtle Cook. Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Tuesday August 19, 2014 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 9pm and again on Wednesday from noon until time of services at 1pm with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Burial will follow at the Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens. Donations can be made in memory of Jobe to the United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties 278C Spruce Street Morgantown, WV 26505.
