Joann Davies Lenhart

Joann Davies Lenhart (85, born July 21, 1939) went home to be with the Lord on January 4, 2025. She worked at Mon General Hospital for eight years and was a devoted homemaker for many more.

She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Charles Robert "Bob" Lenhart, and their children: Cindy (Arlen) Rowan of Pursglove and Chuck (Melissa) Lenhart of Fairmont.

Joann was a proud grandmother to: Anthony (Jessica) Rowan, Dr. Shon (Michelle) Rowan, DJ (Whitney) Lenhart, Cassidy (Joey) Berens, Sarah Giosi, Dr. Angela Lenhart, Jacob (Grace) Lenhart, and Hannah Lenhart.

She was also blessed with great-grandchildren:Christian Rowan, Foster Rowan, Bailey Rowan, Chandler Rowan, Elizabeth Rowan, Nicholas Rowan, Ayla Berens, Arlen Giosi, Paxton Berens, Mackie Giosi, William Lenhart, and Weston Lenhart.

She is also survived by her brother, Jerry (Rose) Davies, her brother-in-law, Charles Wright, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Joann was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and enjoyed sewing, painting, crafting, cooking family dinners, biking, camping, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Danny Lenhart; her grandson-in-law, Jeff Giosi; her parents, Thomas and Willis Davies; her brothers, Bob, Glenn, and George Davies; and her sisters, Brenda Pennington and Shereda Wright.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joann's name to Calvary United Methodist Church in the care of Anna Belle Martin at 1687 Fairchance Road Morgantown, WV 26508.

Visiting hours will be held at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM, as well as on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with the funeral ceremony to follow at 12:00 PM.
