Joan M. Kearns

Joan M. Ayersman Graves Kearns, 73 of Purdue St., Morgantown passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at her residence. She was born May 27, 1937 in Morgantown, the daughter of the late Charles W. and Thelma Stewart Ayersman. She was a retired food service worker at Boreman Hall. She enjoyed going to Kingdom EMC Church with her brother Chester, also baking food for the scout troop and she loved her cat and dogs. Joan is survived by her son, John Charles Graves of Morgantown, two brothers Chester Ayersman and spouse Carol of Morgantown and Calvin Ayersman of Montana and a sister Delores Dean of Morgantown. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral home on Thursday, April 14, 2011 from 3-5 and 7-9pm and on Friday from 12noon until the time of services at 1pm with Rev. Kevin Cain officiating. Burial will follow in the Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
