Jo Carol Stansberry, 69, of Little Falls, Morgantown, passed away Wednesday February 29, 2012 at Monongalia General Hospital. She was born December 6, 1942 in Fairmont, WV daughter of the late Joseph and Maxine Kisner. Jo Carol was a homemaker and was an avid sports fan. She also enjoyed playing cards, making latch hook rugs and loved her dog Mookie. Jo Carol graduated from East Fairmont High School, married and then relocated to Ruff Creek, PA for nearly 40 years. After retirement she enjoyed traveling but ultimately returned home to be closer to her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 50 years Arley Fred Stansberry of Little Falls; daughter Deneta Rickard; son Rick Stansberry and wife Anna all of Waynesburg, PA; sisters Connie Tennant and husband Tom of Lexington, NC, Donna Stansberry and husband Denver and Linda Swisher all of Morgantown and brother Larry Kisner and wife Donna of Morgantown. Also surviving are grandchildren, Ricky L. Stansberry and wife Jenna of NC, Jacob A. Rickard of Pittsburgh, PA, Tiffany A. Stansberry and Joseph R. Stansberry both of Waynesburg, Kristopher Stansberry of Maryland and great grandchild Ayden R. Pattricelli. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother Terry Kisner. Friends may call at the Pisgah United Methodist Church, Rt. 73 Smithtown Road, on Friday from 11am until time of services at 1pm with Pastor Tom Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow at the Pisgah Cemetery.
