Jo Ann Goodwin

Jo Ann Goodwin, 93, of Morgantown passed away peacefully on June 6, 2021. She was born April 15, 1928, the daughter of Ruby Melton Stewart and Kermit D. Stewart.
Jo Ann was a homemaker who tirelessly put the needs of others before her own. She had a sharp wit and a memory that allowed her to recall all her children and grandchildren's birthdays and anniversaries. She always saw the best in others and took on challenges with a gracious attitude. She was a class act in every way.
Jo Ann is survived by her son Timothy Goodwin and wife Jenny, son Carl Goodwin and wife Penny all of Morgantown and daughter Sally Means of Fairmont. She was the loving grandmother to nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren who all adored her kind heart and words of wisdom.
In addition to her parents, Jo Ann was preceded in death by her sweetheart, husband M. Wayne Goodwin.
The family has chosen to hold private services on Friday, June 11, 2021. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the staff of the Madison Center for the compassionate care given to Jo Ann over the past several months.
