On the 7th day of February, James Casino, 65, of Morgantown, lost his six year battle with heart/lung disease. He was born May 17, 1949 to the late Fred and Dorothy (Savage) Casino. He is survived by his spouse of twenty eight years, Bonita "Bonnie" (Stewart) Casino; 3 sons, Kevin and wife Angie Casino, Mike Casino and girlfriend Roberta Johnson, and Collin and girlfriend Briana Buzzo; Brother, Eddie and wife Carol Casino; Uncle Jim "Moose" and Aunt Betty Casino; aunt Babe and uncle John Johnny' Stephens; uncle Frank and aunt Betty Casino; Father-in-law Ronald Eugene Stewart; two sister-in-laws, Teresa Vallelonga and Sue Casino; his grandchildren; Brynlea Addison Casino, Ashton Britton, and Taylor Mae Casino; and many nieces and nephews. Jim retired from the Star City Police Department after 25 years of service. Not being one to sit for any length of time, he went to work with his brother Frank for Casino Electric until his health hindered his ability to work. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially his granddaughters. Jim coached little league and was fond of playing golf. One of Jim's favorite things was spending time with his Corvette. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers; Freddy and wife Toni Casino and Frankie Casino. Family and Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Thursday from 3pm until 8pm and again on Friday from 10am until the time of service at 11am with Pastor Kenny Reed officiating. Burial will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
