Jesús Arreola Marlier

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Jesús Arreola Marlier, on September 8, 2023, in Morgantown, WV. He was the beloved son of Juliet Marlier and the late José Arreola Contreras and dear brother of Ana Cristina Arreola Marlier.

Jesús was born in Mexico City and was raised there and in Cholula, Mexico until the family moved to the U.S. when he was five.

Before moving to WV, he lived in Yardley, PA. He graduated from Pennsbury HS in 2012. Jesús enjoyed sports and was an avid skateboarder. A great music fan, he played trumpet and was an accomplished guitarist.

As he planned for his future, Jesús earned his nursing assistant certification while also working full-time. He was recognized for his skill and compassion for his patients, but he was not able to continue in the field due to his worsening health.

Jesús will be sadly missed by his mother and sister, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends in both Mexico and the US who hold fond memories of him. He was predeceased by his loving Aunt Emmy and his Tio Carlos. He leaves behind his much-loved dog, Laila.

A graveside service will be held at the Zion Cemetery in Morgantown, on September 18 at 11 AM.
