Jesse Albert George

Jesse Albert George, 51, of Star City passed away Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the Summersville Regional Medical Center. He was born March 27, 1959 at Sutton, WV, the son of Eva Janie Martin George of Morgantown and the late Albert Earl George. Jesse was a member of the First Apostolic Church and was employed at Ruby Memorial. Jesse was an avid hunter and a fan of the Pittsburg Steelers. He also was a member of Local Union 814. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Marjorie Cooley George; a son Jesse Albert George II of Colorado , 2 daughters Andrea Kayla George and Cassandra Darlene George both of Morgantown; 3 Brothers Donald Lloyd George , Ronald Filmore George and James Earl George all of Morgantown; 5 Sisters Betty Jane O-Scire of New York, Barbara Reed and Ellen Gillespie both of Morgantown, Polly Bresock and Candy Roby both of Ohio; 2 half sisters Debbie Saurs of Ohio and Bonnie Zetta of New Jersey. Also surviving are his grandchildren Gianna George and Callie Jo McDonald both of Morgantown. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son Jared Allen George. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral home on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 from 6-8pm and Wednesday from 1-3 and 6-8pm also Thursday from 10am until the time of services at 11am with Rev. Alfred Reed officiating.
