Jesse James Dalton, Sr.

Jesse James Dalton Sr., 80 of Morgantown passed away Monday March 8, 2010 at Sundale Nursing Home. He was born March 11, 1929 in Morgantown a son to the late Benjamin and Martha Dalton. Jesse is survived by his wife Carrie Shaw Dalton of Morgantown; two sons Ronald Dalton of Terra Alta, WV, and Stanley Dalton of Morgantown; five daughters Barbara Stull of Core, Sandy Hall of New Hill, Marlene Zinn of Kingwood, Debbie Zinn and Mary Reed both of Morgantown; one brother Lonnie Dalton of Morgantown; and 19 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Jesse ‘Jiggs’ Dalton II; three daughters Sally Zinn, Arlene Dalton, and Lauri Dalton; and five brothers and seven sisters. Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Thursday March 11, 2010 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm and again on Friday from 10am until time of funeral services at 11am with Pastor Francis Craker officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The family would like to thank the Sundale Nursing Home staff for all of their care and support. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Fred L.
