Jefferson Slidell Wolfe Bowman

Jefferson Slidell Wolfe Bowman, 59, formerly of Kingwood, WV, passed away peacefully at his home in Morgantown, WV on November 29th, 2014 with his wife by his side after a brief illness. Jefferson was born and raised in West Virginia. He graduated from Kingwood High School, completed his Bachelor's degree in Political Science at West Virginia University, and obtained his Juris Doctor from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He was certified to practice law in both West Virginia and Pennsylvania. He had a passion for history, law, philosophy, road trips, and music. He is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years Alice Lee, his children Margaux Johnson and her husband Matthew of Morgantown, Megan Thompson and her husband Bradley of Morgantown, John Bowman and his wife Erin of Morgantown, his grandchildren Garrett Alden Thompson, and Lilly Anne Bowman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Edward and Helen Wolfe Bowman as well as various uncles, aunts, and cousins. Cremation services are being provided by the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home.
