Jason Allen Smith

March 16, 1986 — December 10, 2016

Jason Allen Smith, 30, of Morgantown, WV passed away suddenly after a short illness at Ruby Memorial Hospital on Dec. 10, 2016. Jason was a born again believer who loved the Lord. He was born on March 16, 1986 in Morgantown, WV son of the late Jackie Smith Lemasters.

Jason or JROCK as many new him, attended University High School and worked for Commercial Builders and IOS. He loved the guys he worked with and made the workplace more fun than it should be. He had a great sense of humor and would have everyone laughing at his witty jokes and crazy dancing. He had an enormous amount of love for his family and cherished time with his children.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie Korzun Smith; two daughters, Makenna Pennington and Lilliana Smith; one son, Cameron Pennington; one step-daughter, Kailey Corns. He loved them all and held them close to his heart. Also surviving is one sister, Felisha Smith Madden (Richie), step brother, Robby Coles; one niece and three nephews; close cousin, who was more like a brother, Shawn Woody; close Aunt Dolly Smith of Cassville special Uncle Gary Woody of VA; his mother and father in law, Caren and 'Beanie' Korzun and several aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Smith. Jason was loved by so many and will be forever in our hearts.
Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4pm until time of services at 6pm with Revs. Troy McCartney and Charles Morgan officiating. Cremation will follow.
