Janet Hill Morris

Janet Hill Morris, 55, of Morgantown went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Saturday Dec. 12, 2015 at her home. She was born on March 17, 1960 in Richlands, VA daughter to the late Hubert and Frances Newberry Hill.

Janet worked as a supervisor at the WVU, Barnes and Noble bookstore for more than 15 years. She loved the folks she worked with every day. More than anything she loved time spent with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Donald James Morris; daughter Stephanie Morris of Morgantown; grandchildren Tyler Kalbaugh, Matthew Kalbaugh, Chloe Kalbaugh and Alyzin Teets all of Morgantown; sister, Tiny Calhoun, sister Kim Ray and husband Kenny; brother, Tim Hill and wife Kay and sister Bridgot Ray and husband Mark all of Honaker, VA. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Teresa Hill and brother in law Bob Calhoun.

Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015 from 4pm until 8pm and again on Wednesday from 10am until time of services at 11am. Burial will follow at the Nicholson Chapel Cemetery.
