James William Smith

James William Jimmy' Smith, 25, of Westover, went into the arms of the angels on November 15, 2013. Born November 20, 1987 in Morgantown, WV, son of Jimmy Wasco of Morgantown and the late Jackie Smith Lemasters. In addition to his father, Jimmy is survived by special dad' and best friend Shawn Woody; one son Andrew Jean Smith, whom he loved, cherished and took great pride in supporting and spending his time with; one brother Jason and Bonnie Smith of Morgantown; one sister Felisha Smith of Morgantown; he loved living with his special Aunt Donna Woody. Jimmy graduated from University High School and was a former employee of McDonalds and was most recently employed by Ruby Hospital in linen attendance. He at times attended Jesus Mission Church. He was a number 1 Steelers fan and played baseball for the Car Tunes Baseball Team. In addition to his mother, Jimmy was preceded in death by several other family members. He is forever loved by many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Thursday November 21, 2013 from 3pm until 9pm and again on Friday from 11am until time of services at 1pm with Rev. Charles Morgan and Pastor Gwen McKinley officiating. Burial will follow at the Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens. Please mail donations to James Jimmy' Smith Memorial Fund, C/O Fairmont Federal Credit Union, 1254 Pineview Drive, Morgantown, WV 26501.
