James M. White

James Manuel White, 72 of Blacksville, WV passed away Friday May 27, 2011 at the Golden LivingCenter. He was born October 22, 1938 in Morgantown son of the late Arthur H. and Esta Gwin White. James was employed by the A&P Grocery store. While in Maryland he was a member of the Church of God and most recently attended the All Faith Tabernacle in Blacksville, WV. James is survived by one son Terry White and wife Shirley of Bunker Hill, WV; daughters, Judy Lipscomb and husband Larry of Blacksville, Marcia Harris of Fairmont, Rebecca Phillips and husband Ed of Maidsville; brother, Virgil White of Star City; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Barbara White; brothers, Ray and Franklin White and sisters, Julia White, Shirley Eddy and Wanda Yerkovich. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Monday May 30, 2011 from 3-5 and 7-9pm and again on Tuesday from 12:30pm until time of services at 1:30pm with Rev. Raymond Morris officiating. Burial will follow at the Olive Cemetery, Pentress, WV.
