James Alan Savina, known Jim to his friends and family, passed away peacefully at his home in Reedsville, WV, on November 22, 2024. Born on December 15, 1959, in Clarksburg, WV, Jim's life was a testament to his unwavering strength, kindness, and dedication to his loved ones.
Jim's early years in Clarksburg were filled with the warmth of a close-knit family and the joys of childhood adventures. He carried this sense of camaraderie and love throughout his life, touching the hearts of all who knew him. After proudly serving his country in the US Army, Jim continued to exemplify the values of loyalty and hard work in his long-standing career with SGI, where he was not only a respected colleague but also a true friend to many.
Jim's legacy is carried on by his adoring family, including his children Valerie and Jeremy Blosser, James Matthew and MariJo Savina, and Jessica and Aaron Aley. He was a cherished brother to Freddie (Carolyn), Jack (Debbie) Savina, and Joyce Lowther. His playful spirit will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Brandon, Isaiah (Autumn), Jacob, and Millie Blosser, Isaac Conley, Delilah Aley, and Grace Savina, who will miss their grandfather's endless support and love. Jim also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who were dear to him.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Fred and Eloise, his beloved wives Delilah and Patty Savina, his sister Darlene Sue, and brother-in-law Gary Lowther. They were undoubtedly there to welcome him with open arms, as Jim entered into eternal rest.
