James Warren Pickett

James Warren ‘Jw’ ‘Mcconk’ Pickett, 82, of Philippi, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020. He was born in Morgantown to the late Lewis and Mary Helen Ashworth Pickett.
James was a self-employed taxidermist. In his free time, he was an avid hunter and fisherman.
James is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Mari Dionne; two sons, Jason Pickett of West Virginia, and Lincoln Pickett Sr. of Maryland; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister; Mary Lew Boyce of Morgantown.
Honoring James wishes cremation services are being provided by Fred Jenkins Funeral Home and a memorial service will take place at a later date.
