James Edwin Miller

James "Buc" Miller, 61, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at the Madison Center Nursing Home. Buc was born June 21, 1953 in Fairmont, WV to Rosemary Hanne-Miller of Morgantown and the late Frank Miller. He attended Morgantown High School in the early 1970's. He was known for his musical talent of singing and played in various venues in the area. Buc was a construction worker in the local area for many years before achieving a Masters' Degree in Business Administration at Fairmont State University. After graduating he worked at WVDHHR in Marion County until retiring. He is survived by his mother, Rosemary; sister, Brenda Miller-Viscomi (Suffolk, Virginia); niece, Shana Miller (Morgantown, WV) whom he helped his mother raise like his own and her companion Nick Kellam; great nephew Gabriel Deaner and great niece Elizabeth Kellam. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312 or a charity of choice.
