James A. Butler, 27 also known by his family and friends as Jimmy or Bud, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011 as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was born September 26, 1983 in Morgantown, the son of John W. Butler Jr and Rebecca (Becky) Everly Butler of Morgantown. Jimmy followed in his dad's footsteps as a heavy equipment operator. Jimmy loved to be around his family and friends. The ones that knew Jimmy best called him Bud. Jimmy started riding and racing motorcycles at a very early age and won many trophies for his racing. In addition to his parents, John and Becky, he is survived by three brothers John Robert Butler and his wife Carla, Douglas Butler and George (PJ) Butler all of Morgantown. Also surviving are two half-sisters Samantha Sigley and Stephanie Whipkey both of Pa. He was preceded in death by his grandparents John and Bessie Butler and William R. and Naomi Everly; his uncles William L. Everly and James M. Everly; his aunts Nellie (Sue) Wolfe Butler; cousins Rachelle Jamison, Ashley Kelley, Taylor Beth Kelley and Mackenzie Everly. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2011 from 3pm until 8pm. Funeral Services will be held at 11am Monday at the funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Fletcher Cemetery.
