James R. ‘Jimmy’ Jackson II, unexpectedly passed away on June 24th, 2023.

He was born September 12th, 1979 to Fern Sue Jackson and the late Elbert Vaughn Jackson Sr.

Jimmy was a man of many things; A Father, Son, Brother, and Friend to many. Jimmy was a wildcard with a heart of gold, that had no regrets, and underneath the rebel without a cause act was just a simple man. Jimmy loved cars, doing mechanical work, welding, and old country music.

He is survived by his mother, Fern Sue Jackson; his children, Kaylee Sue Jackson, and her fiancé Justin, Elbert Vaughn Jackson II, Brooke Lea Jackson, and James Richard Jackson III; his brother, Michael Vaughn Jackson and his wife, Dianna; niece, Laci Lynn Jackson; nephew, Wyatt Joseph Scott Jackson; and great nephew, Emerson Dunkin. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is proceeded in death by his loving father and best friend, Elbert Vaughn Jackson Sr.

Visitation will take place at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 11th from 2 PM until the time of service at 4 PM. Jimmy will then be cremated and laid to rest at Olive Cemetery amongst his family at a later date. Flowers and donations can be made to the funeral home.
