Jacqueline Moseley

January 23, 1943 — July 23, 2019

Jacqueline L. Jones Moseley “Jackie” was born on January 23, 1943 and went home to be with the Lord on July 23, 2019. She was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania to Leroy and Sarah Gibson Jones.

Jacqueline attended elementary and Junior High School in Osage, West Virginia. She graduated from the University High School in Morgantown in 1961. After graduation she went to Washington DC and studied nursing. She became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). She was employed by several hospitals in the Washington DC area.

Jacqueline married Leroy Moseley for 25 years.

She was employed by US Navy and retired in 1994 as a supervisor of the Accounting Department. She also worked as a tour guide for tourist visiting the Washington DC area, a school bus driver for Prince George County in Maryland.

She returned to Morgantown to take care of her mother and step father Johnnie “Pete” Hughes in failing health. After their passing, she was employed by Visiting Homemaker Service.

She loved to sew, especially quilts. Jacqueline was a member of several quilting clubs in the Washington DC area and Morgantown. She loved to traveled. She has travel all over the country and a few areas outside the USA.

Jacqueline was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Everettsville. She was the Missionary President. She loved to visit the nursing homes to lend a helping hand when ever asked to. Always helping.

She leaves to mourn her passing her devoted brother, Leonard C Jones (Theresa), nieces, Jeanie McDonald, Cynthia Meaux, Candice Patrick (Todd) and several grand nephews, grandnieces and cousins.

Jacqueline’s Celebration of Life will be July 29, 2019 at the Fred L Jenkins Funeral Home, 10 South High Street, Morgantown, WV. Visitation will be at 11am and services at 12pm with Eulogist Pastor Robert Buckner and Pastor Laverne Horton, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Breast Cancer Society in Jacqueline’s name.

Interment will be at the Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, immediately after the service.
