Jackie 'Jack' Mcginnis

Jackie Earl "Jack" McGinnis, 71, of Fairmont, passed away Saturday September 1, 2018 at Fairmont Regional Medical Center. He was born May 23, 1947 in Morgantown a son of the late John McGinnis, Sr. and Eleanor McGinnis. Jack served his country honorably, during the Vietnam War, as member of U.S. Air Force. After his discharge from the service Jack worked as a taxi driver and later drove people to doctors and other various appointments. In his spare time, he enjoyed working with his hands on cars and other mechanical items. He is survived by a son Jackie E. McGinnis, Jr.; step son Kenny R. Gregory both of Fairmont; brother Roger McGinnis and wife Debbie of Morgantown; sisters Jane M. Gatian and husband Larry of Jane Lew, Beverly Nicholson and husband Chris of Morgantown; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Sharon McGinnis. Friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Thursday September 6, 2018 from 4pm-8pm and again on Friday from 10am until the time of services at 11am with Rev. Russell Gatian officiating.
