Iona Marie Snow

Iona Marie Snow, 58 of Star City passed away Thursday September 15, 2011 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital. Iona was born April 25, 1953 in Morgantown daughter to Juanita Barnett Snow of Star City and the late Wade Snow, Sr. Iona was a graduate of Morgantown High School and attended Huntington College, West Virginia University and she graduated from the West Virginia Career College. She was most recently employed at Source One. She also worked for Pace Tech and the Department of Energy. She was Baptist by faith. In addition to her mother Juanita, Iona is survived by one brother Christopher C. Snow of Maryland; Uncles James and Jack Barnett and their spouses all of Cleveland, OH and a host of cousins and friends. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her brother Wade Snow, Jr. Friends may call the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, Monday Sept. 19, from 3-5 and 7-9pm. Funeral Services will be held 1pm Tuesday at the Fred L. Jenkins Chapel of Prayer with Rev. Mary Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at the East Oak Grove Cemetery.
