Hugh Frederick Jones

Hugh Frederick ‘Pat’ Jones, 81, of Morgantown, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at his home. He was born February 27, 1940 in Wheeling, WV, a son of the late Hugh and Mildred Wolfe Jones.

Pat honorably served his country as a member of the U.S. Army. After his discharge from the Army, Pat worked as a machinist for FMC and then EIMCO. He was also employed as a bus driver for West Virginia University until his retirement. Pat was active with the Senior Monongalians and enjoyed singing for the Senior Monongalians with the group Country Pride

Pat is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 60 years Linda Jones; daughters Debbie Jones, Suzanne Schiwitz and husband Johnny; and a granddaughter Marissa Schiwitz.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother.

Honoring the family’s wishes, cremation is being provided by Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home.
