Howard “Howie” Ray Tomago, 81, of Granville, WV passed after a long illness in Greensburg, PA, March 9, 2017. He was born October 9, 1935 to the late Joseph and Mary Emma (Jones) Tomago.
“Howie” was a sports fanatic and loved flea-markets. He was an amazing landscaper and spent his younger years beautifying Morgantown. “Howie” spent his time later in life watching his favorite western movies and spending time with his grandchildren. You could find him being social having his coffee and cigarettes at various places.
He is survived by two daughters, Peggy and spouse Arnett Russell, Mary and spouse Daniel Chesney; brother John and spouse Linda Tomago; several grand-children and great-grandchildren.
Howard was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
“Howie” is preceded in death by his special friend, Katherine “Kitty” Brutto; his brother and sisters.
Family and friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, Tuesday, March 14th from 2pm - 4pm and again from 6pm - 8pm. Visitation will continue Wednesday, March 15th from 10am until the time of service at 11am with Rev. Allen Donham officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
