Howard Williiam Goff

Howard “Bill” William Goff, 68, of Morgantown, WV, went to be with the Lord on March 28, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer surrounded by his loving wife and children.

Howard was born in Philippi, WV on January 26, 1948 to the late Ralph and Mary (Millslage) Goff. He was married to Lois Goff on September 11, 1966; they were married for 49 years.

He was a loving husband and father. Howard enjoyed being among the outdoors hunting and fishing. The family enjoyed summer camping trips at Twin Lakes.

Howard is survived by his wife Lois (Mace) Goff; his son Howard William “Bill” Goff II of Morgantown, WV ; his daughter Denise Goff of Falls Church, VA; brother Mike Goff and fiancé Michele Maloney of Mechanicsburg, VA; sisters, Vickie Willard and Kathy Riffle of Morgantown, WV; step mother Irma Goff of Lakeland, FL; and step sister Alicia Garren of Tennessee.

In addition to his parents, Howard is preceded in death by a brother, Butch Goff; his grandparents who were extra special to him, Howard and Fern Millslage; brothers in law, Rick Willard and John Riffle.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network at www.pancan.org.

Family and friends will be received from 5pm until 8pm Thursday, March 31, at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Friday, April 1st from 10am until the time of service at 11am with Pastor Damon Nicholson officiating. Burial will follow at the Nicholson Chapel Cemetery, Summers School Rd with Arthur Mace officiating the committal service.
