Homer Clyde Mccord

Homer Clyde McCord, 77, of Cassville, passed away on Saturday March 1, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born August 12, 1936 in Cassville son of the late Tracy Russell and Ermal Kemp McCord. Clyde worked many years as a laborer for National Copper while living in Ohio. He is survived by two sons, Brian Williams and wife Jenn and Jack McCord and wife Anita; daughters, April Williams and fiancé John, Debbie Thams and husband Steve, Tracy Gilbertson and husband Paul and Kelly Stanfield and husband Stan; many grandchildren; one brother, Tracy Russell McCord, Jr. of Cassville; sister, Nora Lee Beers of Cassville; sisters-in-law, Carolyn McCord, Sue Nuce of Pursglove and Mae Michaels of Hagans, WV. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Clyde was preceded in death by his wife Beverly McCord; sisters Kathleen Reckert, Florence Keener, Bonnie Brake and Linda McCord; three brothers Jack McCord, Elbert McCord and Richard McCord. The family would like to offer their appreciation to Clyde's caregivers, Don Smith, Tina Armstrong and his sister Nora Beers. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 from 5pm until 8pm and again on Wednesday from 10am until time of services at 11am. Burial will follow at the Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home.
