Henry H. Mccardle

Henry Herbert McCardle, 84, of Greenwood, WV, formerly of Morgantown, passed away on Sunday, October, 4, 2015 at Nella's Nursing Home in Elkins, WV. Henry was born September 30, 1931 in Pursglove, son to the late John McCardle and Emma Lantz McCardle. Henry was a US Army Veteran and served during the Korean Conflict. He worked at the Ford Motor Company for many years. Henry is survived by his children, John McCardle of Kingwood, Karen Logsdon of Gaithersburg, MD and Sandy Jiampetti of Colorado; one sister Donna Rife of Fairmont and three grandchildren, Georgia Jiampetti, Finley Jiampetti and Griffen Logsdon. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his ex-wife, Shirley McCardle and two brothers, John M. McCardle, Jr. and Donald William McCardle. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Thursday, October 8, 2015 from 4pm until 6pm. Graveside services with full military rites will be held at noon, Friday Oct. 9, at the WV National Cemetery, Pruntytown, WV.
