Helen Mae Mccormick

Helen Mae McCormick, 94 of Morgantown passed away Friday May 27, 2011 at the Evergreen Assisted Living Facility. She was born January 20, 1917 in Pricedale, PA daughter to the late Alex and Edith White Braddock. Mrs. McCormick worked many years at the Quality Glass Factory. She was a member of the American Flint Glassworkers Union. She was also a beloved housewife and grandmother. She was protestant by faith. She is survived by one son Thomas McCormick and wife Annette of Morgantown; grandchildren, Timothy McCormick and Kathryn Lorusso both of Elk Ridge, MD and James McCormick of Tallulah, LA; six great grandchildren and two brothers Jack and Vaughn Braddock of Pennsylvania. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John W. McCormick and five sisters. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Monday May 30, 2011 from 5-7pm. Funeral services will be held 11am Tuesday May 31 at the Fred L. Jenkins Chapel of Prayer. Entombment will follow at the East Oak Grove Mausoleum.
