Hayward Junior Mccauley

Hayward Junior McCauley, 73 of Gladesville Road, Morgantown passed away Saturday February 12, 2011 at his home. He was born July 2, 1937 in Morgantown son of the late Hayward H. and Sarah Harr McCauley. He served in the United States Army from 1954 to 1957. He was last employed at FMC in Westover and later was self-employed as a machinist until his retirement. He enjoyed shooting pool with his family, traveling with his wife, fishing, hunting and boating. His creativity with wood was phenomenal. He will be deeply missed by family and friends. Junior is survived by his wife of 53 years Lois McCauley; three children Hayward J. Jay' McCauley, II, and wife Pamela; daughter Belinda Howenstein and husband John all of Morgantown; daughter Cheri Schoonover and fiancé Terry Hose of Grafton, WV; 13 grandchildren; three great grandchildren and sisters Lenora L. Conner and husband Albert of Blacksville, WV and Rose M. Flanagan and husband Elton Sonny' Flanagan of Independence, WV. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Andrew J. and Frena McCauley; maternal grandparents Albert and Leslie Harr and three brothers Lewis A. McCauley, Albert L. McCauley and Larry W. McCauley. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Tuesday Feb. 15, 2011 from 3-5 and 7-9pm and again on Wednesday Feb. 16, from 12noon until time of services at 1pm with Pastor Meredith Gudger-Raines officiating. Burial will follow at the Halleck Cemetery.
