Harold James Sanders Carpenter was born still at WVU Medicine Golisano Children's Hospital on May 1, 2026. Though his time was brief, his meaningful impact will be felt forever. Harold James carried the beloved name of his great-grandfather and is remembered with love by his mother, Holly Eddy, and father, Christopher Carpenter.
Harold James is survived by his cherished brother, Jack Eddy; his uncle, Ayden Ash; and his aunts, Elizabeth (Brian) Hose and Audrey Morningstar. He will also be missed by his grandparents, Mimi Shawntelle Sanders, Steve Gillum, Jr. (Anita), and Janet Fincham, as well as great-grandparents Diane Sanders, Pam Gillum, and Steve Gillum (Vickie).
In this time of sorrow, Harold James' parents wish to express their deepest gratitude to the dedicated medical team at WVU Children's Hospital, whose compassionate care provided comfort during this difficult time.
Private services in honor of Harold James Sanders Carpenter have been entrusted to the Fred Jenkins Funeral Home.
Prayers and support are extended to his family, who will carry his memory in their hearts always. Sweet Harold James will be forever loved and never be forgotten.
