Harold Eugene Morris

Harold Eugene Morris “Hoss” 71, of Cobun Creek Rd., Morgantown passed away on Thursday December 31, 2009 at Mon General Hospital with his family by his side. Harold was born on April 30, 1938 in Marion County to the late Russell and Hazel Flowers Morris. Harold was a retired coal miner from Blacksville #1 Mine. He will be remembered as a loving, big hearted, strong willed man, and will be missed by all who know him. Harold is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Marjorie Shroyer Morris; his daughters Robin White and husband Dale, Tammy Pase and husband Carl, and Angela Straight and husband Keith all of Morgantown; his grandchildren Amanda White, Konor and Haleigh Straight of Morgantown; and two step grandchildren Virgil Pase and Stacy Lawson of Morgantown; and one brother Russell Morris Jr. of Little Falls. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Charles Morris and a sister Margaret Offutt. Special thanks to the girls at the Dialysis Center in Westover for all of your wonderful care. Harold loved you all. Also a special thanks to the superb care Harold received at the Mon General’s ICU Unit. Friends will be received at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Saturday January 2, 2010 from 3-9pm and again on Sunday from 12pm noon until time of funeral services at 1pm with Rev. Raymond Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Fairmont, WV
