Gregory Neely

Gregory Anthony Neely, age 64, of Laurel Point went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 26, 2022 with his family by his side.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn and Kenneth Neely and a father-in-law, Robert Maxwell.

He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Debra Neely; a son, Trent Neely and wife Jill; a daughter, Misty Eddy; his grandchildren, Jodi, Codi, Aubrey, and Anthony; as well as eight nieces and nephews. Also surviving is his mother-in-law, Carolyn Maxwell Murray.

Greg worked for WVU Health Sciences Center for 32 years before retiring. He loved his family and loved the great outdoors. Greg was a member of the Overflow Church on River Road. He was loyal to God, his family, the Steelers, and the Pirates. In his downtime, he enjoyed fishing, camping, hiking, golfing, and hunting (kind of). He was also a lover of music and taught himself to play keyboard.

Family will receive friends at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Monday, October 3, 2022 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM, then again on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 from 10 AM until the time of service at 11 AM with Pastor Jeremiah Bostic officiating.
