Goldie E. Barnett, 69, of Morgantown, passed away on Monday December 21, 2015 at Monongalia General Hospital. She was born February 15, 1946 in Morgantown a daughter of the late James and Ada Bell Shaffer Uphold.

Goldie loved her dogs. She also enjoyed playing video lottery machines.

She is survived by her beloved husband Delbert Barnett, Jr.; daughter Lisa Jefferds; sons William Jeff Murray, Donald Murray; grandson George Calvert; granddaughter Misti Arbogast; sisters Pheobee Riffle, Rosie Hartley, Persey Bell Gray; brother William Uphold; three step children Cindy, Tim, Theresa; and 10 step grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sisters Arlene Dalton, Becky Uphold; brother Ralph Shaffer, and granddaughter Megan Murray.

Friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Saturday December 26, 2015 from 10am until the time of funeral services at 12pm with Pastor Donna Dalton officiating. Burial will follow at Nicholson Chapel Cemetery.
