Gloria Rae Linger

Gloria Rae Linger, 81, of Morgantown, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2022 at her home with her son by her side. She was born August 14, 1940 in Morgantown a daughter of the late John M. and Leola P. Huggins. She enjoyed playing Bingo, but most of all cherished spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by a son Harvey Coffman and wife Connie of Morgantown; two sisters Delores Jean West, Loretta Lee Starn both of Fairmont, four grandchildren Michelle Murray, Jason Christopher and wife Crystal, Stacy Woody and husband Josh, Samantha Bice and husband Joe; and eight great grandchildren Cody Edgell, Justin Murray, Tyler Murray, Emily Christopher, James Christopher, Zachary Woody, Brooklynn Woody, and Zane Bice. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Harvey F. Coffman; her second husband Roy Linger; and a son David Coffman. The family would to extend a special thank you to all of the nurses and staff of Amedisys Hospice for all of their care and support. Visitation will be held at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 from 3-7pm and again on Thursday from 11am until the funeral service at noon with Pastor Gwendolyn McKinley officiating. Gloria will be laid to rest at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
