Gerald Eugene Yost

Gerald Eugene Yost, 65, of Van Voorhis Road, Morgantown, passed away on Thurs. March 16, 2017 after an extended illness at the Grafton City Hospital. He was born in Perry Township, Pa on October 30, 1951, son of the late Freddie and Alma Yost. Gerald worked for the Dept. of Energy as a custodian for five years.

Gerald enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling, and outdoor activities.
Gerald is survived by his wife of 30 years, Mrs. Linda Rowan Yost; children, Serita Lipscomb and husband Don and Brad Nuce and wife Michelle; four grandchildren; sister, Rose Fluharty; brother Edward Yost and wife Kim; one niece and one nephew.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Francis Yost.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home from 11am until time of services at 1pm with Rev. Sean Wightman officiating. Cremation will follow. Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family.
The family would like to thank the young lady who comforted Mr. Yost in his final moments. You will never know what this meant to his wife, who wasn’t able to be by his side. Also, to Sarah and Terry Carter, special friends of Gerald and Linda, who have tended to Mrs. Yost’s every need since Gerald’s passing. Your tender care is so very appreciated.
