Gerald Hunt

Gerald Allen "Joe" Hunt, 72, of New Hill passed away Monday, October 13, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. "Joe" is survived by his wife JoAnn Hunt of forty years; daughters, Dixie (John) Hriblan of Morgantown, Barb (Mike) Kent of Chestertown, MD, Cindy (Mike) Simpson of Fairview, Linda (Rick) Wimer of Core, Donna Evans of New Hill and Greg Evans of Mt. Morris, PA; seven grand-children and five great-grandchildren, and one sister Nancy Bowser of Granville, WV. He retired in 1999 from Consol Coal Company. "Joe" was a member of Mac-Dale Church of Christ in Blacksville, WV "Joe" is preceded in death by his parents Gerald Dayton Hunt and Ella (Toots) McCord Rowan; sister, Shirley Yovonne Jones, and his first wife Patricia Ann Heflin Hunt. Family and friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home Tuesday, October 14 from 4pm until 7pm and again Wednesday, October 15 from 10am until the time of service at 11am with Dan Summers officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
