Georgia L. Weigner, 75 of Westover passed away peacefully Saturday October 15, 2011 surrounded by her family. She was born November 29, 1935 in Marion County, WV daughter of the late Jesse and Bessie Maxwell Lawson. Georgia retired from WVU Hospitals as a station clerk. Georgia was also an ordained Evangelist who shared her faith at various churches and went door to door witnessing to non- believers. She was a faithful member of the Mt. Calvary Assembly of God and was always willing to listen and pray with both friends and strangers alike. All who knew her were blessed by her gracious spirit, selflessness and devotion to her Lord. She is survived by her daughters Theresa Rodriguez of Freeport, IL, Tammy Barnett and husband Randy of Westover, Diana Price of Westover; grandchildren, Joshua Weigner, Jamie Harris and spouse Maurice, Rachel Taylor, Anna Rodriguez, Emilio Rodriguez, Rosalinda Rodriguez, Jeremy Barnett, and Maria Barnett; great grandchildren, Kyler Harris, Chaylon Harris, Kaylee Weigner, Cameron Weigner Aiden Taylor, Trinidy Williams, Trevion Wiliford, Annastee Ketner and Isabella Bowser. Also surviving is her brother William Bill' Lawson of California and best friend and prayer warrior Catherine Shine of Osage. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Henry F. Weigner, Jr.; two sons John H. Weigner and Michael E. Weigner and one grandson Keith Barnett. Friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home on Wednesday October 19, from 3-5 and 7-9pm and again on Thursday from 10am until time of services at 11am with Pastor Johnny Whitehair and Rev. Ed Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at the Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
