Georgia L. Blosser

March 2, 1942 — February 6, 2015

Georgia Dalton Blosser, 72 of Reedsville, WV, formerly of Morgantown, died Friday, February 6, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer. The daughter of the late Burt Henry and Addie May Murray Dalton, she was born March 2, 1942. Georgia worked for 20 plus years taking care of people in their homes as a private duty caregiver. She enjoyed spending time with her family and vacationing at any beach on the East Coast. Georgia had a strong faith and was a member of Living by Faith Church. Georgia is survived by her loving husband, Arthur Blosser; three children: John Blosser and his wife, Melynda, Kathy McMillen and her husband, Phil, and Scott Blosser and his wife, Tiffany; her grandchildren: Britney Goodwin and her husband, Andy, Ashley Blosser, Hayley Danko Blosser, Kody Blosser, and Jennifer McMillen; one great granddaughter, Adriana Greco; siblings: Terry "Duke" Dalton, Casper Dalton Jr., Marvin Dalton, Patty Ault, Rosella Kay Cox, Nancy Murray, and Joe Dalton. She is also survived by: Jeff Blosser, Ernie and Melanie Blosser, Mary and Kenny Goldsborough, Eva and Phil Danford, Donna and Charles Smith, Gary and Bobbi Collins, Ella Conner, Bobbi Lou Wensell, Debbie and Troy Hixenbaugh. Although they were not her children, she loved them as though they were. Not to be forgotten is niece, Donna Smitty' Haseleu that was like a daughter to Georgia and also Georgia's best friend, Pam Shafer who stood by her side every step of the way. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Rev. Casper Dalton; her siblings, Delbert "Bobby" Dalton, Edna "Sissy" Dalton, DeWillia "Bockie" Summers, and Bonnie Blosser. Family and friends may call at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, Sunday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., and Monday, February 9, 2015, from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service with Pastor Marshall Woods officiating. Burial will follow in Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens. Donation may be in Georgia's memory to Hospice Care Corp. P.O. Box 760 Arthurdale, WV 26520.
