On October 26, 2014 our beloved brother George Harold Morris 60, spent the last weeks of his life being cared for at the home of his loving sister Becky, after a courageous battle with cancer. God knew what was best for George. His family will greatly miss him and his inner child like manner, such as believing in Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. His family that has gone on before him is rejoicing while the ones left here on earth will continue to carry on with a deep void in their hearts, until we too are called to our Heavenly home to be reunited once again. George was born July 7, 1954 in Uniontown, PA., son to the late Russell E. Morris Jr. and Rose Plichta Morris. George always had a smile on his face. He never met a stranger and could brighten your darkest day by his smile. George loved music; his favorite things were a transistor radio, sunglasses and a watch. He enjoyed taking long walks with his sisters at the old homestead on Little Falls Road. He loved spending the holidays with his family. George always loved to celebrate his birthdays with a cookout and fireworks (BOOM) !! He resided at REM (group home) for 16 years. George's family would like to express their deepest appreciation for the much love and care he received from his extended family at REM. George captured the hearts of many people around the world he never knew through the internet (Facebook). Friends on Facebook always looked forward for pictures and videos of George. He was preceded in death by his parents and his older brother Rusty. George is survived by his sisters Mary Jane Carter and husband Jesse of Lost Creek , WV , Barbara Lou Prater and husband Dale of Morgantown , Donna Joyce Morris of Morgantown , Hazel Roseanna Pugh and husband Deane of Columbus, OH, and Becky Jean Hinzman (guardian) and husband David ( Bob ) of Morgantown. George is survived by several nephews, nieces and great nephews and nieces. A special thanks to George's nephew Dale (cousin) and his niece Christy for the special bond they shared between each other. Friends may call at the Fred L.
